Forgery Suspect Sought By Hoover Police

Hoover police are trying to identify a suspect they say presented counterfeit checks which were negotiated against a victim's account.

HOOVER, AL - The Hoover Police Department is seeking help in identifying a man who allegedly presented counterfeit checks which were negotiated against the victim’s account.

Police obtained video footage from BancorpSouth locations in both Moody and Trussville. A report by Hoover PD says the total dollar amount of the loss is more than $2,700.

Police say the suspect used fabricated documents to complete the transactions. Vehicle information is unknown at this time.
