Galleria Shoplifting Suspects Sought By Hoover Police

Two females suspected of shoplifting at the Belk in the Riverchase Galleria are wanted for questioning by Hoover police.

HOOVER, AL - The Hoover Police Department is trying to identify two women who are suspects in a shoplifting incident at the Belk store in the Galleria. The incident occurred April 27, according to police.

Belk Loss Prevention reported that after concealing over $550 worth of merchandise, the females then passed the last point of sale without attempting to pay. Hoover Pd said the suspect vehicle is a gray Chevrolet Uplander minivan with Alabama tag 4490AV3, but the tag is not on file with the state.
