Hoover Approves Construction Of New Access Road

Hoover is investing $3 million in a new alternative route through a number of community developments.

HOOVER, AL - The Hoover City Council has approved a $3 million bid from C.S. Beatty Construction to build a new acess road between Hoover High School and Flemming Parkway. The new road will provide alternative routes to Hoover High, a new Signature Homes subdivision called Flemming Farms, a new baseball and softball complex under construction west of Hoover Met stadium and Finley Center, and a new outdoor sports and playground complex south of the RV Park.

According to a report from the Birmingham Business Journal, Hoover agreed to pay Brasfield & Gorrie $195,000 to serve as construction manager and Goodwyn, Mills & Cawood $36,000 to monitor site preparation work.
