Hoover Bank Robbery: Suspect Remains At Large
Hoover police are trying to identify a man they say robbed a BBVA branch in Hoover Wednesday.

HOOVER, AL — The Hoover Police Department is seeking a man seen on security video robbing a BBVA bank branch in Hoover Wednesday.
A report from the Hoover PD said the robbery occurred just before 12:30 p.m. at the BBVA branch at 1560 Montgomery Highway. Witnesses said a man wearing a black ball cap, sunglasses and a mask entered the bank and demanded money from the teller.
He then lifted his shirt, displaying a handgun tucked in his waistband, according to police. The suspect gave the teller a plastic bag and ordered him to place the money in the bag.

The suspect is described as white male approximately 50-60 years old, 5-foot-6, weighing 250-300 pounds.
