Hoover Felony Shoplifting Suspect Arrested
A woman accused of shoplifting at Belk in the Riverchase Galleria has been arrested by Hoover police.

HOOVER, AL — A woman accused of shoplifting at the Belk in the Riverchase Galleria has been arrested. Hoover police said Carlesha Deniese Cox, 38, of Gardendale was taken into custody Feb. 27 and charged with third degree theft of property.
Police said Cox selected more than $500 worth of merchandise from inside the store, passed all final points of sale, and fled the area.
Cox was booked into the Jefferson County Jail and bonded out a few hours later.
