Hoover Gets Ready For SEC Baseball Tourney
The SEC baseball tournament returns to the Hoover Met May 22.

HOOVER, AL - The Hoover Metropolitan Stadium will once again host the Southeastern Conference baseball tournament, but at least one hometown favorite will likely not be there.
The University of Alabama is currently in last place in the SEC West, and holds the conference's worst record, so the Crimson Tide will not be making the short trip to Hoover. Auburn sits in fourth place in the West, and will likely make the 12-team field.
The SEC has been the country's strongest conference in baseball this year, with the nation's top ranked team in the Florida Gators, and top 10 teams in Ole Miss and Arkansas. Georgia, Kentucky, South Carolina and Auburn are also ranked in the Top 25.
