Hoover Getting New Subaru Dealership

HOOVER, AL - Hoover has for years been the mecca for automobile dealerships in the Birmingham metro area, and the city will be adding to that reputation in September when a new Subaru dealership will open on Highway 31.

According to the Birmingham Business Journal, the Subaru dealership will serve as a sister dealership to the Hendrick Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram and Hendrick Chevrolet dealerships already on U.S. 31. Hendrick had purchased these businesses as the Don Drennen Buick dealership in 2011 and the Ivan Leonard Chevrolet dealership in 2014.

John Gallagher, Hendrick vice president, said the company added a Subaru dealership since sales of the vehicle have been growing across the nation for nine years in a row at roughly 250 percent. Currently, Hendrick Subaru of Hoover is located at 2929 John Hawkins Parkway.
