Hoover La Quinta Inn Guests Rob Pizza Deliveryman, Arrested by Police

Two young men ordered a pizza from the Hoover La Quinta Inn and robbed the deliveryman at gunpoint.

HOOVER, AL - Two young men have been arrested after they ordered some pizzas while at the La Quinta Inn on Riverchase Parkway in Hoover, and robbed the deliveryman at gunpoint. Hoover police have charged Roderick Deshawn Little, 20, and Cedrick Jacquese Carter, 18, with first-degree robbery.

The incident occurred at approximately 11:30 p.m. Saturday night. According to Alabama Media Group, Little and Carter ordered two pizzas, and then when the pizzas arrived at the hotel, one of the suspects pulled a handgun and demanded the pizzas from the victim. Both suspects then walked away on foot with the pizzas and the victim returned to his store to report the incident. A report from al.com said officers responded to the hotel and found a man matching the description of one of the suspects. He was taken into custody without incident. The second suspect also was arrested at the hotel.Both suspects are being held in the Shelby County Jail on $15,000 bond each.
