Hoover Man Arrested for Second Road Rage Incident
A Hoover man was arrested over the weekend for an August road rage incident in which he pointed a gun at a motorist.

HOOVER, AL - A Hoover man was arrested this week for his involvement in a road rage incident in August. According to Hoover Police, at 6:00 p.m. on August 30, a female victim was traveling on Ross Bridge Parkway when an unknown vehicle began tailgating her. The suspect then passed the victim in a no passing zone, and as he did, he made an obscene gesture and then pointed a handgun at the victim.
The suspect was recently identified as 23-year-old Amol Kaushal of Hoover, and a warrant for his arrest was issued last week by a Hoover City magistrate. Kaushal was arrested Oct. 27 at his residence on Ashby Lane around 9:50 a.m. and transported to the Hoover City Jail.
This was not the first time Kaushal has been involved in a road rage incident. Kaushal was arrested Oct. 20 for the same charge. The previous incident occurred on October 12, also originating on Ross Bridge Parkway and leading to a gun being brandished as the suspect and victim traveled on John Hawkins Parkway.
