Hoover PD Hosts 'Coffee with a Cop' October 3
The Hoover Police Department invites you to pull up a chair, grab a cup of coffee, and get to know some of your HPD officers.

HOOVER, AL - Anyone who has ever wanted to just sit down, drink coffee and chat with their local law enforcement officers can do just that Wednesday, October 3. The Hoover Police Department is hosting "Coffee With a Cop" at the Starbucks at Hoover Crossings.
The event, from 9-11 a.m. is an informal meet and greet session between Hoover residents and members of the Hoover Police Department.
"There are no presentations, speeches or lectures," the HPD said in its announcement. "We just want to visit with our community and see how we can better serve you." (For more updates on this story and free news alerts for your neighborhood, sign up for your local Patch morning newsletter.)

The Hoover PD said the mission of the event is to break down barriers between citizens and law enforcement by removing agendas and allowing citizens the chance to ask questions, voice concerns and get to now the officers that protect their neighborhoods.
