Hoover PD Searching For Fraud Suspect
The Hoover Police Department is trying to identify a suspect they believe used a stolen debit card.

HOOVER, AL - The Hoover Police Department is trying to identify a man they say may have used a stolen debit card to make purchases at a local Best Buy store.
According to a report by the Hoover PD, the suspect is wanted for questioning in a felony theft case (Fraudulent use of credit card) which occurred on May 21. The victim’s vehicle was broken into (Unlawful breaking/entering vehicle) in the 100 block of Inverness Plaza.

Hoover PD said among the stolen items included the victim’s wallet which contained credit cards. The suspect made at least two purchases, one at the Highway 280 Best Buy, totaling more than $3,000. The other was at the Trussville Best Buy which also totaled moire than $3,000.
