Hoover PD Seeking Theft Suspect

The Hoover Police Department is trying to identify a suspect in a vehicle break-in and credit card fraud case.

HOOVER, AL - The Hoover Police Department is currently seeking the identity of a suspect in a vehicle break-in/credit card fraud case. The car break-in reportedly occurred January 11, and the subsequent use of a stolen credit card from that vehicle happened soon after.

A report by the Hoover PD said the car break-in occurred in the area of Jaguar Drive and Valleydale Road, where the victim’s purse was taken. A short time later, the victim’s credit card was fraudulently used to make purchases at Walmart Neighborhood Market (Valleydale Road), Advanced Auto Parts (Valleydale Road), Chevron Station (Birmingham, near Princeton Hospital) and CVS (Birmingham, near Princeton Hospital).
