Hoover PD Seeks Suspect In Identity Theft Cases

A woman is accused of multiple felony theft incidents in Hoover, Jefferson County and Madison County.

HOOVER, AL — The Hoover Police Department is trying to identify a woman they say was involved in multiple identity theft cases in Hoover, Jefferson County and Madison County.

In these incidents, a victim’s stolen identification was used to cash more than $6,000 in fraudulent checks, according to a Hoover PD report. The suspect is described as a white female possibly driving a red Dodge Durango with a blue “backed by Burke” dealer drive off tag.

The woman faces charges in multiple jurisdictions, including identity theft, possession of forged instrument, forgery, theft of property and unlawful breaking/entering vehicle.
