Hoover Police Investigating Armed Robbery
The Hoover Police Department is looking into an armed robbery at a residence on Lynnchester Circle.

HOOVER, AL - The Hoover Police Deapetmernt is investigating an armed robbery that occurred March 6. At 10:45 A.M. Tuesday, Hoover police were called to the 2200 block of Lynnchester Circle on a report of an armed robbery. The victim reported that she pulled into the carport at her residence and was immediately approached by a black male armed with a handgun. He demanded the victim’s purse and her vehicle to which she complied. Detectives are looking into the possibility that the victim was followed from the Region’s Bank located at 1592 Montgomery Highway.
The suspect fled the area in the victim’s vehicle which is described as a 2005, gray Nissan Altima with Alabama tag 1BL5978. He is reported to be between 25-35 years old, 5’-9” to 6 feet tall, and 180-210 pounds, last seen wearing a baseball cap and black shirt.
