Hoover Police Investigating Home Burglaries
The Hoover Police Department is investigating some residential break-ins and the suspects may have committed similar crimes in Vestavia.

HOOVER, AL - The Hoover Police Department is investigating five residential daytime burglaries that occurred Tuesday in our Hoover. All of the homes were unoccupied. One was in the Russet Woods neighborhood, one was in the area of Shades Crest Road and Highway 150, one was in the Green Valley/Country Club Highlands area, and two were in the Regent Forest neighborhood. It appears that all were forced entry on rear or side)doors.
The Hoover PD says the suspect vehicle is possibly a dark colored four door Nissan with a bumper sticker on the rear bumper. This is the same vehicle involved in break-ins in the Vestavia area as well.
"We are aware of other burglaries which occurred in neighboring jurisdictions that might involve the same suspects, and we are working with those agencies," said the Hoover PD in a social media post.
