Hoover Police Investigating Pair Of Armed Robberies

Hoover police are investigating two armed robberies that occurred last week, which may be related.

HOOVER, AL - A pair of armed robberies in Hoover last week are likely related, and the Hoover Police Department is currently investigating both instances.

On the evening of June 11, Hoover PD responded to the 300 building of The Park at Galleria apartments on a report of an armed robbery. The victim reported that he was approached by two black males, one armed with a handgun, as he was unlocking the door to his apartment. They robbed the victim of his cellphone, wallet, and car keys before fleeing the area.

At 8:58 p.m., a second armed robbery occurred in the parking lot of Burlington Coat Factory, located at 1615 Montgomery Highway. The victim in that case reported she was backing out of a parking space when a black male armed with a handgun pulled open her driver’s door and ordered her out of the vehicle. According to a Hoover PD report, another suspect opened the passenger door and ordered the passenger to exit the car.
