Hoover Police Looking For Forgery Suspect

A man who forged checks from a stolen checkbook for purchases at the Walmart on Highway 280 is being sought by the Hoover PD.

HOOVER, AL - The Hoover Police Department is currently trying to identify a suspect who they believe stole a checkbook and forged checks to purchase goods at the Walmart on Highway 280 last month. This individual is wanted for questioning in a possession of a forged instrument case, which is a felony. The incident occurred on December 1.

The suspect used a stolen check as payment to buy approximately $361 worth of merchandise. Police ask that anyone who recognizes this person, or knows anything about him or this case, contact Hoover Detective Jennifer Stewart at (205) 444-7616.
