Hoover Police Looking For Identity Thief
The Hoover Police Department is trying to identify a woman who is wanted for multiple crimes, including identity theft and forgery.

HOOVER, AL - The Hoover Police Department is searching for a woman wanted for questioning regarding series of crimes in the city, including breaking and entering a motor vehicle, forgery and identity theft. Detectives were made aware of multiple fraudulent check cashing offenses around the metro area that involved this suspect. Hoover PD officials say she is driving a gray Jeep Patriot. Locations of her crimes include the PNC Bank in Bessemer and America’s First Credit Union in Roebuck.
Detectives have been notified of and are working similar cases with Helena, Pelham, Vestavia, Homewood, Birmingham and Bessemer. It is believed that this suspect has been operating as far north as Huntsville and perhaps beyond. She also continuously changes her appearance to match the stolen identities being used.
