Hoover Police Seek Vehicle Theft Suspect

A December vehicle theft in Hoover has led the Hoover PD to a suspect, but police have yet to identify him.

HOOVER, AL - The Hoover Police Department is seeking a suspect (or multiple suspects) in a vehicle and debit card theft case. The incident occurred on December 6.

Police posted a video of one of the suspects on social media:

A report by the Hoover PD said the victim’s vehicle was stolen on Sawyer Drive. A short time later the victim’s debit card was used at Regions Bank, Tannehill-Mccalla and Sally Beauty Promenade Parkway Bessemer. The victim’s vehicle, a white Toyota 4Runner, was recovered later that day.

Detectives have obtained video surveillance of a white male suspect, working together with an unknown second suspect in these offenses. The suspect vehicle is a gray Honda with a yellow tag .
