Hoover Police Seek Leads In Stolen Credit Card Case
A wallet containing $400 cash, a gold ring and credit and debit cards was stolen, police said.
HOOVER, AL — Police in Hoover are working to identify two people they say could be connected to the case of a wallet stolen from the 1500 block of Montgomery Highway last month.
In a social media post, police the stolen wallet contained $400 cash, a gold ring, a driver's license, credit and debit cards and other property. The stolen cards were then used in an attempt to purchase items at the Lowe's State Farm Parkway store in Homewood, but the purchase was declined.
Police said the wallet may have been stolen by the driver of an early 2000s silver Dodge Ram 1500 pickup.
