Hoover Police Trying To Identify Felony Theft Suspect
The Hoover Police Department is looking for a woman who they say may be involved in a felony theft case.

HOOVER, AL - The Hoover Police Deaptment is trying to identify a suspect who allegedly used a stolen credit card to receive a $5,000 cash advance at a local bank. Police say the suspect also attempted similar transactions in Pell City and in Trussville.
A report by the Hoover PD says the incident in question occurred March 21 at Union State Bank on Lorna Road. "It was discovered that the female used a fake out-of-state license to make a cash advance on a presumably stolen credit card, in the amount of $5,000," the report states.
The report also reveals that the woman is driving a local rental, a gray 2018 Hyundai Santa Fe with Alabama tag 1CZ2253. Hoover PD said this vehicle was obtained with a fraudulent name and fake identification.
