Hoover Ranks As One Of The Most Livable Cities In The U.S.

A recent poll shows Hoover as one of the country's most livable cities.

HOOVER, AL - Most Hoover residents already know the city is a great place to live in, but the rest of the country is taking notice as well, as a recent poll rated the city as one of the country's most livable cities. The research publication, 24/7 Wall Street, compiled a list of the 50 best cities to live in across the country, and Hoover ranked 17th on the list.

To determine America’s 50 best cities to live in, 24/7 Wall St. considered roughly 590 cities the U.S. Census Bureau reported as having populations of more than 65,000 in 2016. Only the top performing city in each county was considered in the ranking. The methodology included nine major categories: crime, demography, economy, education, environment, health, housing, infrastructure, and leisure.
