Hoover Teens Rob Pizza Deliveryman At Gunpoint

Two Hoover teens, using BB guns made to look like assault weapons, robbed a pizza deliveryman Monday.

HOOVER, AL - Two Hoover teens, using BB guns made to look like assault rifles, robbed a pizza deliveryman at an apartment complex on Rime Village Drive Monday afternoon.

According to a report by Alabama Media Group, the teens, Christopher Deon Walton and An'ton Je'horma Lewis, approached the victim in the parking lot of the complex after the victim had delivered a pizza, and demanded money from the deliveryman.

The suspects fled the area on foot and the victim called 911. Hoover police responded to the call just before 1 p.m. Monday afternoon. While canvassing the area, officers located two males in the 1600 block of Gardens Place matching the description given by the victim.

Detectives located a BB gun replica of an assault rifle in a backpack belonging to one of the males. Walton and Lewis were taken into custody and confessed to robbing the victim. On Tuesday, police obtained formal warrants against the teens.

They are expected to be transferred from the Hoover City Jail to the Jefferson County Jail where they will be held on $11,000 bond each.
