Hoover's Josh Niblett Is USA Today Coach Of The Year For Alabama

Josh Niblett joins a few Hoover Bucs players on the USA Today All-Alabama Team.

HOOVER, AL - Hoover Bucs coach Josh Niblett has likely become used to winning at this point in his football career. After a 48-20 victory over McGill-Toolen by the Bucs in the state final, Niblett now has six state titles in his 10 years at Hoover and seven overall as a head coach. This success has been known throughout the state of Alabama, but lately the Bucs coach has received national attention as well.

USA Today honored Niblett by naming him the Coach of the Year in its 2017 All-Alabama Team. Niblett joined Bucs junior WR George Pickens , senior WR Shedrick Jackson and senior OL Mike Maye on the list. Maye has committed to Geirgia Tech, while both Pickens and Jackson have committed to Auburn.

Hoover has won state football championships in 2000, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2009, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2016 and 2017.
