Hoover's Will Reichard Commits To Alabama

HOOVER, AL - Hoover High School's Will Reichard, listed as the top high school placekicker in the country, has committed to the University of Alabama.

Reichard made the announcement on social media Wednesday morning.

"Playing college football has been a dream of mine since I was a little boy, and for my family to give me every opportunity and allow me to live that dream means the world to me," Reichard said in his announcement.

Reichard was patient during his football career at Hoover, splitting time with Nebraska commit Barrett Pickering, and will begin the 2018 season as the top kicker in the country.

Alabama, despite winning five national championships in the last nine seasons, has had problems finding consistency in the field goal kicking game.
