Husband And Wife Team Opening New Coffee Shop In Hoover

Nathan and Wendi Parvin are hosting a grand opening for Baba Java Roaster & Café on Saturday, March 30.

HOOVER, AL - There can never be too many places to buy coffee, as 400 million cups of coffee are consumed each day in the United States. And a husband and wife team in Hoover wants to provide the popular beverage at their new shop on Highway 31.

Nathan and Wendi Parvin are hosting a grand opening for Baba Java Roaster & Café on Saturday, March 30. Located at 4730 Chace Circle in Hoover, the new establishment is located in a strip mall that includes Five Guys, Jet’s Pizza and Jimmy John’s locations, according to a Birmingham Business Journal report.

Baba Java will serve espresso-based drinks, pour over and drip coffee, Turkish coffee and tea by Sachai. The coffee is sourced from China, Yemen, Africa as well as Central and South America.

The coffee shop will also sell pastries from local bakeries such as Emily’s Hierloom Pound Cakes in Birmingham, Forest Bear Bakery in Hoover, and Highland Gourmet Scones in Pelham.

Operating hours will be Monday through Thursday from 6:30 a.m. to 9 p.m., Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.
