Identity Theft Suspect Sought By Hoover Police

Hoover police are looking for a man they say may be connected with a case of identity theft.

HOOVER, AL — The Hoover Police Department is looking for a suspect in a case of identity theft, which involves a suspect opening credit card accounts in the victim's name.

"Two credit card accounts were opened illegally using the victim’s information," a statement by Hoover police said. "After opening the accounts, the suspect then made fraudulent purchases that totaled over $1,700."
