JeffCo Dept. Of Health Offers Back-To-School Immunization Clinic
Beginning this week, the Jefferson County Department of Health will offer immunizations for students heading back to school.
JEFFERSON COUNTY, AL — Students throughout the county are headed back to school in the coming weeks, and part of a new school year is getting students their vaccinations. The Jefferson County Department of Health started an immunization clinic this week for that purpose.
The Back To School Immunization Rush began July 29 and runs through August 9. The clinic is open Monday, Tuesday, and Friday, 8 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., and Wednesday and Thursday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Parents may bring their children to the Central Health Center on 1400 Sixth Avenue South, Conference Room A. Patients are to report to the main lobby for registration and check-in.

There is no charge for Certificate of Immunization (COI) if the student is receiving shots, and the cost is $10 for a for COI only visit.

- Insurance Card
- Child’s current shot record or Certificate of Immunization (COI)
- Child’s Social Security number
