JeffCo Narcotics Detectives Make Drug Arrest In Hoover
The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office seized cocaine and methamphetamine from a home in Hoover.

HOOVER, AL — A drug arrest was made last week in Hoover by the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office. Vice and Narcotics detectives executed a search warrant in the 2200 Block of Abbyglen Circle July 14 and seized a large quantity of narcotics, according to the JCSO report.
Sgt. Joni Money of the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office said the residence was occupied by Robert Alan Ozment, who was arrested and charged with trafficking narcotics — Ozment's second arrest where large amounts of narcotics were seized.
During this search, detectives recovered 6.41 grams of Cocaine, five ounces of methamphetamine, 14 suboxone strips, 15 alprazolam pills, two firearms and more than $3,000 in cash, Money said. In addition, nine gold bars, a 2009 BMW and other miscellaneous items were seized during the search.

Ozment, 47, is being held in the Jefferson County Jail with no bond.
