Lake Cyrus Vehicle Break-Ins Investigated By Hoover PD

HOOVER, AL - The Hoover Police Department is Investigating reports of multiple vehicle break-ins in the Lake Cyrus neighborhood.

Hoover Police said during the early morning hours of May 9, the Lake Cyrus neighborhood experienced three vehicle break-ins. In all three of these cases, the vehicle doors were unlocked. At least three suspects were captured on various homeowners’ video surveillance going through the neighborhood lifting up on car door handles.

The Hoover PD posted this video to social media:

• Remove valuables from the vehicles.
• Lock the doors and make sure the alarm is set.
• Have quality exterior (flood) lights shining on your vehicles.
• Consider having video surveillance on your property.
• Write down makes/models/serial number for all electronics, firearms, etc.
