Lowe's Shoplifting Suspect Sought By Police

Hoover police are trying to identify a man they say stole merchandise from the Lowe's on Valleydale Road.

HOOVER, AL — A felony shoplifting suspect is being sought by Hoover police. The incident occurred at the Lowe's on Valleydale Road June 13. Hoover police posted security photos of the suspect on social media Thursday.

A report by the Hoover Police Department said the suspect selected a Honda lawn mower, Husqvarna pole saw, dishwashing liquid and laundry detergent, then exited the store without attempting to pay.

The total value of the stolen merchandise is more than $1,100. The man got into a gold Chrysler Town and Country van and left the area, police said.
