Man Accused Of Robbing Woman In Hoover Parking Garage Wanted

According to the Hoover Police Department, the suspect pointed a handgun at the victim and demanded her phone and wallet.

HOOVER, AL—Police in Hoover have released photos of a man wanted in connection with an armed robbery that occurred Sunday in a parking garage at the Riverchase Galleria. They're now asking the public for help in identifying him.

According to the Hoover Police Department, on March 15, a woman was sitting in her vehicle when an unknown black man walked up to the driver’s window and smashed the glass. In doing so, police said the woman sustained some superficial cuts to her arm and face.

After breaking the window, officers say the suspect pointed a handgun at the woman and demanded her phone and wallet.

Police said he then ran to an awaiting vehicle, got inside and fled the scene. The suspect’s vehicle is described as an early 2000s silver Lincoln Town Car with noticeable damage to the front bumper and driver-side quarter panel.

The victim was treated and released on scene by Hoover Fire-Medics, police said.
