Man Found Dead In Hoover Home Identified

A man found dead in his home in Hoover Wednesday afternoon has been identified.

HOOVER, AL - A man found dead in his home on Hibiscus Drive in Hoover's Lake Crest community Wednesday has been identified. Police say the deceased is 46-year-old Matthew Earl Isbell.

A report by the Hoover PD said medics pronounced the victim deceased at 4:13 p.m. The Jefferson County Coroner's Office responded to the scene and transported the victim to their office where an autopsy will be performed Thursday.

Hoover PD said Isbell was bleeding from the head when he was discovered.
