Death In Hoover Home Ruled A Homicide

The Hoover PD has determined that retired attorney Arthur Grey Till Jr. was killed by blunt force in his home.

HOOVER, AL - A 73-year-old man was found dead Monday in his Caldwell Crossings home, and police are currently investigating what they are calling a "suspicious death." Hoover police identified the victim as Arthur Grey Till Jr., a retired attorney. Till was discovered by two female visitors who police said had access to his home.

The medical examiner has determined the victim died from blunt force trauma, with the manner of death being homicide. A report by the Hoover PD said detectives and crime scene investigators continue to follow leads, examine evidence and conduct interviews. "At this point we do not believe the victim nor his residence were randomly targeted," the report said.
