Hoover police say multiple vehicle break-ins were reported overnight in the Bluff Park community.

HOOVER, AL — Hoover police say they received multiple reports of vehicle break-ins Monday night into Tuesday morning in the Bluff Park neighborhood. Police say none of the break-ins wee by force, but occurred with vehicles that were left unlocked.

The Hoover Police Department posted security video on social media Wednesday showing how a suspect entered a vehicle:

"This serves as a reminder to ALL Hoover residents: please remember to lock your vehicle doors," Hoover police said in a statement.
