Police Search For Suspects In Ross Bridge Car Break-Ins

The Hoover PD is looking for suspects in multiple car break-ins in Ross Bridge last weekend.

HOOVER, AL - The Hoover Police Department is investigating multiple vehicle break-ins in the Ross Bridge area that occurred April 13-14. The Hoover PD released video footage of two suspects wanted for questioning in the cases.

The suspects were seen on video surveillance walking through the neighborhood lifting up on car door handles. The vehicles doors on these cases were left unlocked, according to a report by Hoover police. Valuables taken include a laptop, wallet, medication and a handgun.

The Hoover PD also wants to remind citizens to take steps to avoid such thefts by:

  • Removing items/valuables from plain view
  • Storing firearms properly (not left in the glovebox of unlocked vehicle)
  • Locking the doors and setting the alarm
  • Using quality LED exterior floodlighting
  • Writing down makes/models/serial numbers and keeping in safe place
  • If you have video, making sure it is functioning properly and recording
  • Parking vehicles inside if you can
