'Reach For The Pie' Pizza Cook-off Raises More Than $13,000
Hoover's 'Reach for the Pie' pizza cook-off raised more than $13,000 for the Special Olympics.

HOOVER, AL - Some of the area's best pizza restaurants convened Saturday to see who has the best pizza in town, and in the process, helped raise more than $13,000 for the Special Olympics. The "Reach for the Pie" pizza cook-off, sponsored by the Hoover Police Department, pitted some of Hoover's top pizzerias in a competition in several categories.
