Regions Bank Robbery Suspect Sought by Hoover PD

A man entered a Regions Bank in Hoover and handed the teller a note demanding cash, then fled on foot.

HOOVER, AL - The Hoover Police Department is searching for a suspect in a bank robbery Monday morning. At 11:18 a.m., the Hoover 911 Center received a report of a robbery at Regions Bank, located at 1592 Montgomery Highway.

According to the Hoover PD, responding officers arrived within two minutes but the suspect had already fled. The white male suspect presented a note to the teller, demanding money, and implied that he had a gun, although one was not observed. He took an undetermined amount of cash and was last seen on foot walking southbound.

Police say the suspect appears to be between 5’5"—5’8" tall, gray hair, medium build and possibly in his 50s. He was wearing a white or light gray Under Armour t-shirt and jeans.
