Shooting At Hoover Apartments Under Investigation
Hoover police are investigating a shooting that left a victim in critical condition at UAB Hospital.
HOOVER, AL — A shooting Tuesday night at a Hoover apartment complex is under investigation, after leaving one victim hospitalized with life-threatening injuries.
A report by the Hoover Police Department said the shooting occurred just after 9:30 p.m. near the 100 building at The Park at Wakefield and Wellington apartments. Police said a man was found lying on the sidewalk with gunshot wounds and was transported to UAB Hospital.
Witnesses reported an altercation occurring before shots were fired, and two unidentified men fleeing the scene, police said.
