Spain Park's Braxton Barker Chooses Bama
Senior signal-caller Braxton Barker follows in his famous father's footsteps and chooses the Crimson Tide.

HOOVER, AL - Spain Park High School quarterback Braxton Barker made the decision Monday to follow in his father's footsteps and play football with the Alabama Crimson Tide. Barker, the son of Alabama's national championship winning QB Jay Barker, chose to join the Crimson Tide as a preferred walk-on, rather than accept one of the multiple scholarship offers he received from other schools.
"It has always been my dream to play football at Alabama," Barker said in a statement. "And I am so thankful that Coach Saban and his staff have given me the opportunity to fulfill my dream."
Barker made his announcement via social media Monday night.
