HOOVER, AL - A man who reportedly stole two six packs of beer from a Hoover store was arrested Wednesday by Vestavia Hills police. Wyatt Roman Stem, 21, was charged with third degree burglary.

The incident began Wednesday morning, at 1:57 a.m., when Hoover patrol officers responded to the Everyday Quick Stop at 2997 Lorna Road on a burglary alarm activation. Officers arrived on scene to find that the front glass door was shattered. They searched the building but did not locate anyone inside.

The store owner accessed the video surveillance system which showed a white male break open the door with a rock. He stole two six-packs of Bud Light beer and fled the area on foot.
