Suspect Wanted In Credit Card Fraud Case: Hoover PD
A man who reportedly tried to use a stolen credit card at various local businesses is being sought by the Hoover Police Department.
HOOVER, AL — The Hoover Police Department is seeking a suspect they say used a stolen credit card to make purchases or attempt to make purchases at several local retail stores.
The incident occurred June 22, and video footage of the suspect was released by the Hoover PD Monday. The suspect reportedly made a purchase of more than $400 at Target on Grove Boulevard, then attempted to make purchases of more than $1,300, but that transaction was declined.
The suspect also allegedly attempted to use the stolen card at Gamestop in Hoover, where security footage of the suspect was taken.
