Three Hoover Police Officers Earn Promotions
Three police officers with combined department experienced totaling more than 40 years have earned promotions.

HOOVER, AL - Hoover Police Chief Nicholas Derzis announced three promotions in his department this week.
Sergeant Clint Blackmon was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant and will serve as Night Shift Watch Commander in the Patrol Division. Lieutenant Blackmon has been with Hoover PD for more than 17 years and has served in many different roles in the department, the most recent being in the Investigations Division.
Officer Andre’ Brown was promoted to the rank of Sergeant and will be assigned to Night Shift Patrol as a supervisor. Sergeant Brown has more than 18 years of experience with Hoover PD and has served in many different roles, the most recent being in the Patrol Division.

Officer/Detective Daniel Lowe was promoted to the rank of Sergeant and will be assigned to Evening Shift Patrol as a supervisor. Sergeant Lowe has been with HPD since 2012 and has served in several different divisions, the most recent being Investigations.
