Three Suspects Arrested In Residential Burglary
Three men have been arrested and charged with second degree burglary after stolen items were presented at a Bessemer pawn shop.

HOOVER, AL - Three men have been arrested and charged with burglary after a Bessemer pawn shop owner alerted police that the men had tried selling stolen items to his store. The store owner had already been informed to be on alert for the specific items stolen.
On September 22nd, Hoover police responded to the 1500 block of Melton Road on a report of a burglary. The victim stated he returned home and found that someone forced entry into his garage and stole several of his tools. Because he had been the victim of a previous theft, the victim contacted the pawnshop in Bessemer and gave them a description of the stolen items. Later that afternoon, police said three males arrived at the pawn shop trying to sell some of the items the victim described.
The pawnshop alerted Bessemer Police who arrived on scene and took the suspects into custody and recovered the victim’s property. Detectives were able to determine that the suspects actually broke into the residence on two separate occasions while the homeowner was out of town.
