• ‘Today is history.' Breakthrough Charter honors first graduating class (aldailynews.com) — Breakthrough Charter School in Marion just honored its first-ever graduating class with a special robing ceremony held in the former Marion Academy gym. Eighteen seniors, many from Perry County, celebrated college, career, and military plans alongside families and teachers who helped them get there. The school’s rural charter model and close-knit environment are giving local students new choices and support for life after graduation.

Multiple local agencies helped track him to Highway 5 and 80, and he now faces several serious charges. Police say no bystanders were hurt and urge anyone with information to contact them.
