🌱 13-Year-Old Makes Threats To Fonde Elementary + Gun Warning

First, today's weather:

Here are the top three stories today in Mobile:

  1. A 13-year-old allegedly called Fonde Elementary School and made a threat. The child was taken to Strickland Youth Center after the school administration contacted the Mobile Police Department. The child has been charged with disorderly conduct. The child's identity and school affiliation have not been released. (WKRG News 5)
  2. The Mobile Police Department is urging the community to lock guns in a safe location. According to the department, 163 guns have been stolen from vehicles so far this year. Do not leave guns in a vehicle - especially an unlocked vehicle. (NBC 15 WPMI)
  3. A former Mobile Police Department officer attempted suicide by cop on Friday in the northbound lane of Highway 43 near John Johnston Road. Robert Harris reportedly struck a police vehicle and made suicidal statements following the incident. Harris has been transported to Washington County Jail and has been charged with Disorderly Conduct, Criminal Mischief, and Attempting to Elude. (UTV 44)
