Here are the top three stories in Mobile today:
- Hundreds of protestors gathered near Government Plaza on Saturday to voice their support for abortion rights. The demonstration was one of 500 protests that occurred throughout the country this last weekend in response to a leaked Supreme Court draft decision. Several states will end abortion services if the leaked draft is submitted by the court. (WKRG News 5)
- The Mobile Police Department is searching for missing 71-year-old Cleon McCovey. He was last seen on Wednesday and has not been found as of Sunday evening. He is reported to suffer from dementia, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia. Anyone with information should contact the department immediately. (WKRG News 5)
- The Mobile Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred in Bienville Square on Saturday night. The department reports that a 13-year-old opened fire in the park during a love dispute. The department has reportedly not made any arrests yet. (Fox 10 News)
