  1. The City of Mobile is considering allocating funds to address the affordable housing issue. The plan would allocate $8 million toward repurposing the old Gayfer's building at 165 Dauphin Street. The funds would be provided through the city's American Rescue Plan funds. (Press Release Desk)
  2. The Mobile Police Department is searching for an 18-year-old who opened fire while attempting to steal a lawnmower. Tremichael Richardson tried to steal the push mower out of a trailer belonging to a private yard company on Crest Brook Drive. The department is asking anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers. (Fox 10 News)
  3. Boeing recently held a job fair in Mobile — an interesting move, considering that the City of Mobile has traditionally been a strong Airbus supporter. Boeing reports that the job fair was simply an attempt to continue its recruiting efforts in finding high-quality talent. (UTV 44)
