  1. Mobile police believe that three to four thieves cracked open an ATM at a Mobile bank and got away with a large amount of cash on Thursday, Sept. 23. Police say that the thieves stole a truck, connected a chain from the back of the truck to the front of the ATM, and pulled the money door off of the machine. They also believe that this heist is connected to a previous ATM heist in July. (NBC 15 WPMI)
  2. Movie and TV production has declined in Mobile, especially with the introduction of COVID-19, which delayed production for a year. It is estimated that 52 film projects will be taking place in the city. A new Robert De Niro movie is a part of this growing Mobile industry. (FOX10 News)
  3. A Mobile podcaster is using his podcast to help children in the hospital by collecting coloring books, which he will start doing on Oct. 1. (WKRG News 5)
  4. A terrified Mobile mother says masked gunmen pulled up next to her family's car and shot at her kids and struck her husband twice after they went out to get ice cream. (WKRG News 5)
