On Friday, September 11, between 6 and 9 p.m., Dauphin Street downtown will be a pedestrians' only venue where local artists and vendors will line the street with individual booths. Piano concerts will be performed in Cathedral Square. A Kids' Zone will be set up to provide crafts, face-painting, and activities. There will be food trucks and all of the delish downtown restaurants. Two new exhibits will have their grand opening at the Mobile Arts Council Art Gallery at 6 So. Joachim St, next door to the Saenger Theater. See two Mobile artists featuring paintings of Mobile personalities and favorite local scenes. Artwalk is a perfect low budget outing for everyone -- from families to date night and everyone who just wants to enjoy an upbeat evening.
